The project aims to achieve maximum value of pyrolysis oil, carbon black, steel wire and other products during large scale treatment, and meet stringent environmental and carbon reduction standards for the Tire Recycling Line and Tire Pyrolysis Plant.
Solution
Based on mechanical crushing & sorting and oxygen free pyrolysis, Vary Tech has developed three production lines for waste tire recycled rubber powder production, waste tire pyrolysis, and deep processing of pyrolytic carbon, realizing 100% resource utilization of waste tires through the Tire Recycling Line and Tire Pyrolysis Plant.
Line 1: Waste Tire Recycled Rubber Powder Production
Through multi stage fine crushing and sorting, rubber blocks and steel wires are separated from waste tires. Rubber blocks are processed into qualified mesh rubber powder, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent Tire Pyrolysis Plant.


Line 2: Large Scale Continuous Tire Pyrolysis Plant
The line adopts Vary Tech’s independently developed 6th generation Tire Pyrolysis Plant. Under fully oxygenfree conditions, crushed rubber blocks are pyrolyzed to stably produce pyrolysis oil, pyrolytic carbon and pyrolysis gas. Pyrolysis gas is recycled to the Tire Pyrolysis Plant system, pyrolytic carbon is transported for downstream deep processing, and pyrolysis oil is stored in oil tanks.
Line 3: Carbon Black Deep Processing Line
Different from ordinary manufacturers, the project integrates a carbon black modification and refining line, which deeply processes crude pyrolytic carbon into granular carbon, greatly improving the ROI of the whole Tire Recycling Line system.
Project Achievements
Treatment Scale: 2 production lines with an annual processing capacity of 30,000 tons, effectively resolving regional black pollution through the Tire Recycling Line.
The three lines ultimately convert waste tires into steel wire, pyrolysis oil and pyrolytic carbon via the Tire Pyrolysis Plant.
Steel wire accounts for 15%, usable as steelmaking raw material or processed into steel shot for metal surface treatment and derusting in shipbuilding, machinery and other fields.
Pyrolytic carbon accounts for 40%, applicable as industrial reinforcing agent, fuel additive, or coating and ink pigment.
Pyrolysis oil accounts for 35%, usable as refinery feedstock, industrial fuel oil for steel, cement, boilers and power generation, or high quality feedstock for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
Pyrolysis gas accounts for 10%, recycled to the Tire Pyrolysis Plant system to significantly reduce operating costs.
