Recently, during the 2024 China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Circular Economy High-Level Forum and the 2nd Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Green and Low-Carbon Development Symposium, Song Zhen, the Marketing Director of Hunan Vary Tech Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "The Corporate Practice and Reflection on Sustainable Circulation of Plastics." Nevertheless, due to inadequate recycling and management practices, it has also exerted considerable environmental strain. Statistics reveal that by 2022, around 500 million tons of plastic waste had been directly discarded into the natural environment. Consequently, the question of how to recycle and utilize plastic responsibly has emerged as an urgent global challenge that demands immediate attention.

The development history of Vary Tech in the field of physical recycling shows the trend of the industry's transformation from single recycling to a closed-loop entire industry chain, which can be divided into three key stages. In 2009, the company entered the initial stage of standardization. Taking the dismantling of waste household appliances as the entry point, it established a standardized technical service system and operation platform, setting a benchmark for standardized processing for the industry. In order to ensure the advancement of the technical route, the R&D team of Vary Tech adheres to an international perspective and has successively inspected the advanced technologies of the United States, Russia, Japan, Germany and other countries. Among them, breakthroughs in many key technologies such as continuous feeding, sealing, and coke removal are particularly important.



Song Zhen stated: "Our chemical recycling technology has been upgraded to the 6th generation, and the flue gas sealing and oil and gas sealing have been upgraded to the 3rd generation. This not only improves the processing efficiency but also ensures the stability and safety of the entire recycling process. The daily processing capacity of a single set of pyrolysis equipment can reach up to 150 tons."

In 2018, Vary Tech achieved a new milestone in the chemical recycling of waste plastics. This year, the company successfully realized the large-scale industrial application of waste plastics from domestic sources, processing 220,000 tons annually. The waste plastics were efficiently converted into high-value products such as pyrolytic oil and pyrolytic carbon, providing a viable technological solution to the environmental issue of waste plastics. To date, the project has been operational for 5 years.

Vary Tech is also committed to ongoing research and development, fostering collaboration within the industrial chain for pyrolytic oil hydrogenation refining, catalytic cracking, steam cracking, and other related processes.
