Under China’s national green development strategy, the Green Recycling Sorting Center in Cili County, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, has been successfully completed and put into operation. Led by Hongying Supply & Marketing Materials Recycling Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Cili County Supply and Marketing Cooperative) and supported by Vary Tech’s technical expertise, this facility boasts an annual processing capacity of 36,000 metric tons, establishing itself as critical infrastructure for advancing local urban-rural resource circularity.
Facility Overview
The center is located within Cili County’s Jinrong Science & Technology Industrial Park, covering a total area of 17,000 m² with a built-up area of 5,000 m². It integrates: A comprehensive sorting platform. A high-efficiency three-dimensional storage system. Dedicated sorting/baling production lines for waste paper, plastics, and metals, forming a complete recycling resource utilization ecosystem.
Intelligent Management System
The center deploys an integrated information management system developed by Vary Tech’s subsidiary OneSort Tech, including:
SmartPick System™ (with Bluetooth-enabled smart floor scales, AI cameras, and RFID card readers)
Sorting Center Operations Management Platform
This system enables granular control over the entire workflow—collection, sorting, storage, and sales—while providing real-time operational decision support through remote monitoring and visualized data analytics. Its reverse invoicing function further standardizes transaction processes.
Aligned with Zhangjiajie’s Carbon Peaking Implementation Plan and Action Plan for Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-Ins, the project establishes a three-tier collection network:
“County Sorting Center → Township Transfer Stations → Village Collection Points”
Full operation is projected to significantly elevate local recycling rates while generating substantial economic and environmental benefits annually.
